Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of EditOffice, operated by [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME] ("EditOffice", "we", "us"). By using the platform, you agree to these terms.
Questions: [email protected].
The platform
EditOffice connects artists and labels who run music campaigns ("Artists") with approved short-form video editors ("Editors") who create content for those campaigns. Editors are paid from a campaign reward pool after editorial review and submission acceptance.
The platform is not a talent agency. Roster acceptance does not guarantee campaign work. Campaign placement does not guarantee any specific viewership, reach, or virality. EditOffice makes no viral guarantees.
Accounts
- You must sign in with a valid Google account to access editor or artist features.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- Sharing account access is not permitted.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Editor roster
- Applying to the roster does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are reviewed manually.
- Roster access requires verification of TikTok account ownership via the EditOffice verification flow, unless a special-case application is approved.
- Each TikTok account may only be claimed by one EditOffice user. Attempting to claim an account already linked to another user may result in account suspension.
- Roster access can be revoked at any time for submitting low-effort edits, violating campaign briefs, or other conduct that harms the platform.
- Accepted editors receive campaign briefs by email and through the platform dashboard.
Artist campaigns
- Campaign briefs submitted through the platform are reviewed before being dispatched to editors.
- Submitting a brief does not guarantee it will be accepted or that editors will claim it.
- You must own or have the right to distribute the track you submit. EditOffice is not responsible for copyright disputes arising from tracks submitted by Artists.
- Campaign details (mood, budget, track) should be accurate. Misleading briefs may be removed.
Payouts
- Payouts to editors are processed after campaign work is reviewed and accepted.
- Payout amounts depend on the campaign reward pool and the number of accepted submissions.
- Payout day is every Friday for completed campaigns. EditOffice reserves the right to adjust this schedule with notice.
- Payouts require valid payment information on file. EditOffice is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment details.
Content and conduct
- Editors retain copyright over the edits they create. By submitting an edit as a campaign deliverable, you grant EditOffice and the relevant Artist a license to use, distribute, and promote that edit in connection with the campaign.
- Do not submit plagiarised, AI-generated, or low-effort edits.
- Do not misuse the verification system or attempt to claim TikTok accounts you do not own.
- Do not use the platform for spam, scraping, or any activity that disrupts service.
Limitation of liability
EditOffice is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific campaign outcomes, or income levels. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email where possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME]. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
